XI International Pollination Course

Atlantic Forest and the spacial context of pollination

 

We are very pleased to announce the XI edition of the International Pollination
Course (2014), an event supported by the Brazilian Pollinators Initiative (IBP),
the Brazilian Program for conservation and sustainable use of pollinators and
the Bahia Pollinators Network (Repol). The 2014 course is being organized by
the Landscape Ecology and Analysis Pack (LEAP), from the University of São
Paulo FFCL Ribeirão Preto.


When?
8 to 20 December, 2014

21 july to 30 september, 2014


Where?
The 2014 edition of the International Pollination Course will be held at Intervales
State Park, at Ribeirão Grande-SP-Brazil, 270 Km west from the city of São
Paulo. This State Park is part of the Serra do Mar forest continuum, within the
largest Atlantic Forest remnant in the world. The parks holds a high diversity of
animals, plants and forest landscapes, along with an expressive amount of
limestone caves, of which some can be visited.
