Why should you join IALE?

When you join IALE, you will become part of a large and active community of landscape ecologists. You will become aware of the multi-facetted research and management activities from all over the world and learn of different ways to address many pressing issues, such as climate change, habitat fragmentation, water shortages, urbanization, and environmental sustainability. Your membership and involvement in IALE will help enrich and extend the rapidly expanding field of landscape ecology to all areas of the world.

Discounted Subscription to Landscape Ecology

As part of our affiliation with Springer, members can receive a discounted print subscription to Landscape Ecology.  This is separate from the free digital access that membership provides. If you are interested, please contact IALE Treasurer.

How Do I Become a Member?

• If you reside in a country or region with an existing IALE chapter, please contact that chapter to become a member. When you join a chapter or region (and if they pay international dues), you become a member of IALE-World and receive all benefits listed above. Please check the list of chapters.
• If there is not an appropriate chapter or region, or if you chapter does not pay international dues, you can join IALE-World directly using the form below. You will receive full benefits (including access Landscape Ecology) after you directly join IALE-World. 
• Your subscription rate is dependent on national income.  We use the World Bank definitions of low-middle vs. high income nations: World Bank List of National Incomes

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Do NOT join IALE here if your country has a national/regional chapter (check the list of chapters).
