8th LE:NOTRE Institute Landscape Forum 2019

The LE:NOTRE Landscape Forum is an annual meeting of experts, academics, students and stakeholders that aims to contribute to development of knowledge and understanding of urban landscape and the countryside in order to improve quality of life, environmental resilience and economic viability.

The forum 2019 Learning Landscapes is hosted by the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Ornamental Plants, Landscape Architecture and Garden Art.

The forum addresses the following target groups

  • Researchers, professionals and educators of all landscape-related disciplines. This includes landscapes that might be considered outstanding as well as every day or degraded landscapes
  • Disciplines addressed include: landscape architecture, urban and regional planning, architecture, geography, anthropology, agriculture, forestry, landscape archaeology, political and social sciences, history and cultural sciences, tourism and economy, transport and infrastructure planning, engineering, water engineering, nature protection and landscape ecology
  • Sectors addressed: public sector: administrations, local and regional authorities, teaching and research, non-governmental associations, private sector: offices and consultancies, industries and real estate
